A UF (according to me) is an "Unfriend", better known as a "fake friend" in psychology. They're usually selfish, manipulative, and disingenuous towards me. They're actually more focused on what I can do for them. I did a test and the results are... All my friends are unfriends except for all my internet friends for some reason like Dean45 .
Here's the test along with my answers:
1. Unfriends talk behind your back
- I once caught one of my unfriend talking about an embarrassing situation about me that I told him and when confronted, he didn't have any defense so I ended up "winning"
2. Unfriends throw you under the metaphorical bus
- My unfriends still to this day pin the blame on me for any situation even if I wasn't involved.
- My unfriends usually don't come to my defense when I'm in the blues.
3. Unfriends constantly cancel on you
- I once prepared carefully for an occasion with an unfriend. They then proceeded to cancel it at the last minute.
4. Unfriends exclude you from their plans
- For a class project, I was put into a group full of unfriends. I was never told about where they would meet to come and on the day of the submission, I wasn't even in the photograph they took of their finished product. When my mom confronted them, they said it was "too hard to get into contact" with me when all they could've done was ask.
5. They call just to ask for favours
- Every time an unfriend comes up to me, they only ask for favours like "Hey can you tell me how to do this?" and they immediately say "Thanks" without my consent. And the most infuriating thing is that when I'm done with the favour they asked, they just say "Thanks" and disappear out of nowhere from my life, only to reenter a few days or weeks later.
6. They give you back-handed compliments
- My unfriends always congratulate me for something, only for me to realise later that they were judging me harshly and are jealous and they just passing it off as "teasing".
7. They only talk about themselves
- In a lot of conversations, they keep rambling about themselves and the things in their life, while not validating me. Whenever I try to even talk a single bit about me, they steer the conversation away to talk about themselves.
So this is how much suffering I have to go through in my current life. Thanks to my unfriends I now have trust issues. Yay! (Seriously tho I need to find some actual friends)
