Context: In the 1930s the German Reich made one of the first propaganda films called “Triumph of the Will”. It became a success and showed the fact that Hitler was in control. Later in the late 1930s and early 1940s the British took that film and made it into this one. It was edited so it looked like Hitler and the army was doing The Lambeth Walk. It was so successful it angered Goebbels, Hitler’s propaganda director.
