Theory about eateot's paintings

I have a theory about the paintings,specifically the ones on stage 2,4 and 5,its possible these paintings are the patient and the image of them,on stage 2,on the vase there are what looks like a couple dancing,maybe the patient reminiscing a dance with her/his lover,on stage 4 its the patient trying to recognize himself and on 5 its,again,his image but more distorted of him/her walking downstairs.

I feel its all connected.
