Because kirby intended reseleasing albums between years to give a effect of "visiting" the caretaker as his condition worsens, possibly meaning we visit him again on stage 4 without having a transition because he already did.
in short:we visit him 1 year after being with him on stage 3 so we dont see a transition but the last tracks are the last lucid before a transition to 4.

Although it leaves a question. What will the transition sound like?

Maybe lots of reverb with lots of bits of sounds with more pops and vinyl crackle until the song bits start geting smaller and a ambience like stage 4 replaces it.
"transition into post awareness confusions"

The description will be like:
"As a transition into post awareness happens the structure of memories starts falling apart and becoming fluid, losing structure.Plaque has reached a critical point in the brain thus killing more neurons and awareness starts dissapearing slowly. These are the last moments of coherence before it all blurs out and gets lost.

This moment will mark the actual Stage 4. Stage 4 is now 5. 5 is now 6. And 6 is now 7. Exactly like EITBON

the transition will probably sound like Sublime beyond loss but with different songs, and slowly more songs play over eachother, I feel like some EAEB tracks would work well as the transition
